Can I sell save the dates on Etsy?

This is the easiest wedding printable to list badly. The card is one face. Sellers stretch it to the edges of a square photo, crop the year, and then write “we ship worldwide” in the description.

The product is a date, not a mood

Buyers search save the date and wedding date card. They want to see a readable date in the first photograph. If your sample says Saturday 13 June 2026, keep Saturday, 13, June, and 2026 inside the safe square. Mark SAMPLE so nobody thinks Avery and Jonah are included as a service.

What to put in the zip

One 5×7 PDF and a matching PNG at 300 dpi is enough. A how-to page (A7 envelope, print at 100%, cream cover stock) earns the listing more than a second “bonus” card you did not typeset. Do not add a Canva link you do not maintain.

Where listings stall

Titles that start with Digital Download waste the only line mobile search shows. Photos shot as full-bleed mockups. Descriptions that never say instant download. Prices copied from invitation suites — a single card is not a $24 suite.

$8–$16 for one card. $14–$20 if you honestly include a matching details card. Below $7 the listing looks unfinished; above $22 a buyer will open a suite instead.
