Can I sell thank-you cards on Etsy?
Yes. A printable thank-you card — wedding or everyday — is ordinary digital stationery. Your type, your file, instant download, personal use. You may sell a single card or fold it into a suite. You may not sell a famous monogram you do not own.
Thank-you cards are the quiet piece of a suite and a listing on their own. They fail for small reasons: the title never says thank you, the photo crops the greeting, or the copy forgets to say no physical card will be shipped.
Wedding or not
If the card is for a wedding, file it with wedding paper and say so in the first words. If it is a general note, file it as a greeting card template and do not bait wedding traffic. Mixing both in one listing is fine when the design is the same and the description says so once.
The file
5×7 is the default. PDF and PNG, 300 dpi. A folded card needs a flat 10×7 (or the size you actually set) and a sentence about which edge is the fold. Mark SAMPLE on any filled names. Envelope: A7, said once.
Photos
Same rule as every card on this site. 2000×2000. Card smaller than the canvas. The word Thanks, or the couple’s names, must survive the square crop. No stock couple holding the card.
Price
$6–$12 for a single thank-you file. Inside a suite, do not price the thank-you as if it were the whole set. Buyers who only need the note will not pay suite money.
