How to list a thank-you card printable on Etsy
Yes — a 5×7 thank-you file is ordinary digital stationery. Say “thank you” in the title. Mark SAMPLE on any names. Instant download, no physical card. Wedding or everyday: pick one in the first line, or say both once.
Thank-you cards are easy to typeset and easy to list as an afterthought. The title never says thank you. The photo crops the greeting. The description forgets that nobody is mailing a card from your shop.
The listing, in order
Title starts with thank you card or thank you note. Then printable, then wedding or everyday, then 5×7, then instant download. Do not open with “minimalist folded stationery.” The buyer typed thank you.
File: PDF and PNG, 300 dpi. A folded card needs the flat size you actually set (often 10×7) and a sentence about which edge is the fold. Envelope: A7, said once. Taxonomy: wedding paper if it is a wedding card; greeting-card templates if it is not.
Photos
2000×2000. The word Thanks, or the couple’s names, inside the square. Card smaller than the canvas. No stock hand. If you show a filled card, SAMPLE sits on the face — people order the names they see, even on a thank-you.
Price
$6–$12 for a single file. Inside a suite, do not price the note as if it were the set. Buyers who only need the card will not pay suite money, and they should not have to.
Score the draft if you want the title counted and the crop risk named.
